Later today we will be heading out to an old school to photograph the building and its contents. Hopefully it stops raining sooner or later. Check back later for more updates!
We had random mexican food today for lunch and it is still raining as of 1:17pm today.
We started off by doing a totally weird exercise where 6 people would just do random actions and we had 30 seconds to make pictures. Needless to say, it was the craziest 30 seconds of shooting that I have ever done. In those 30 seconds you had to compose, meter, change settings, and then shoot all while keeping an eye on your subjects.
After this, we sat down for our portfolio flip through. This was done to see what kinds of styles everyone had and was into. No one had a formal portfolio yet, but some were at the point where they could start to make one.
After that was lunch. It was good as usual, but it was starting to get colder out so hot coffee and tea became the biggest commodities of lunch.
After lunch we finished our portfolio flip through and went on a photo walk down to the local harbor. Most of the pictures on my day 2 on zenfolio are from the walk.
After the walk everyone was super hungry and we then headed back to the campus to get dinner. Dinner was great, tonight was pasta and fish. Kind of bland, but it was still good after a long day. Once dinner was finished, we headed up to the lab to gather our belongings.
Now that everyone had their stuff, we walked back into town to go to our evening slideshow. The slideshow consisted of a short slideshow and then a few clips from 2 new HBO shows that have not been released yet, and the director was there to comment on the slideshow/movie. It was an excelent movie that really moved people to see what was really going on in america and to see the mindset of the rich and famous people.
